Damien Hirst at the HAVOC Gallery

The HAVOC Gallery is exhibiting two Damien Hirst pieces 'Mepartricin' and 'Rhodotorulic Acid,' two spot paintings from Hirst's global project with the eleven Gagosian galleries. Each of these two 2011 wood block prints is 1 of only 55 in the world.

Come see two of these Damien Hirst pieces from the 'Pharmaceutical' collection at The HAVOC Gallery alongside a new collection of Bruce R. MacDonald stainless steel
light sculpture, the graceful mahogany sculpture of Joel Urruty and, the newest addition to the gallery, George Peterson's muscular, carved wood panels. We invite you to experience art in its simplest form, a single color of ink on a piece of paper, next to the visual feast of complexity in wood, metal and light.

Bruce R. MacDonald has been working in the Vermont art scene for just over thirty years and his move from a location well off the beaten track to an accessible new home prompts the creation of this new venue. Gallery 180 was part of the local art scene for six years showing almost exclusively Bruce's work. The Havoc Gallery is an expansion from Gallery 180 designed to include the work of some of the visionary friends Bruce has made over the years.

The Havoc Gallery is located at 27 Sears Lane in Burlington Vermont with eighteen foot ceilings and massive doors for natural light. The gallery is easily accessed from downtown Burlington, just a three minute drive south on Pine Street from the center of town.

Vermont has a new spot to experience Bruce's artwork that is a part of collections across the country. And there is a new place to be exposed to art from very divergent sources curated by experienced professionals.
